The New Face Of Trifecta

For Bay State Extracts, the challenge was to elevate their Trifecta brand through packaging that not only looked premium but also reflected their commitment to eco-consciousness. I designed packaging for oil drops, vape cartridges, and concentrates.

Using bamboo instead of traditional paper was a key material decision, reinforcing their sustainability efforts. The design focused on creating a moody, textured look using matte finishes, embossing, and foil stamping to make the packaging feel luxurious and tactile.

Results

Bay State Extracts successfully launched their new consumer facing website with premium, eco-conscious packaging that helped elevate their brand presence. The new designs not only captured the essence of their high-quality products but also effectively communicated the product’s unique features to consumers, creating an immediate impact in retail and at trade shows.

Reflections

This project provided a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the cannabis industry, where strict rules and regulations play a significant role in shaping design decisions. Navigating those constraints while ensuring the packaging communicated the right messaging was both challenging and rewarding.
